A little while ago we implemented a customer survey program on our www.spohn.net website through an independent third party, Shopper Approved.

How it works: When a customer places an order through our website they are then presented with a survey to complete. Approximately 10 days later after the customer has received his or her order Shopper Approved emails them a follow up survey with additional questions on parts quality, shipping time, etc.

All survey categories are ranked by the customer with 1-5 stars, with 5 being excellent and 1 being poor. Remember that this is all handled by an independent third party, Shopper Approved. We have no way to delete, edit, etc. any response that we don’t like. It is what it is, just like on eBay.

On 09/15/2011 we hit the mark of 1,000 independent customer reviews and we thought we’d share the results with our current and future customers. 96.9% of our customers rated us with 4 or 5 stars, which qualified us for Shopper Approved’s 5 Star Excellence Award.

Our ultimate goal is to have 100% 5 star reviews. The reality is that will probably never happen, but this tool lets us measure our progress and we’ll work hard to make sure we see even better numbers over the next 1,000 reviews we receive.

2008-2009 Pontiac G8 Forged 6082-T6 Aluminum Front Control Arms

Install the Spohn Performance forged 6082-T6 aluminum front control arms on your 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 and gain vastly increased handling and control. Our greasable low deflection and smooth operating fluted polyurethane bushings or optional Delrin bushings allow the control arms to move through their travel easily. The control arms are ready to install and are complete with greasable, friction adjustable, and rebuildable Del-Sphere ball joints.

The Spohn Performance front control arms are CNC machined from forged (not cast) 6082-T6 aluminum for maximum strength and durability. Our 6082-T6 forgings provide for extremely lightweight control arms providing for a significant decrease in unsprung weight and lightning fast suspension reaction! Our complete set of four (4) front control arms are over 12 pounds lighter than the factory’s (over 24#) massive solid cast steel control arms! That’s right, all four of our front control arms fully assembled weigh only 11.90 pounds total!

The factory’s front control arms are equipped with ball joints that are prone to failure, not greasable and have softball sized very flexible rubber bushings. Our front control arms come equipped with greasable low deflection fluted polyurethane bushings that provide for a quiet and street friendly smooth operation or optional Delrin bushings for zero deflection and maximum handling performance. They also feature greasable Del-Sphere ball joints that are friction adjustable and rebuildable. This system includes the Del-Sphere ball joint adjustment wrench.

Our 6082-T6 forged aluminum control arms are clear hard annodized to provide for a very brilliant and durable finish and an extremely trick appearance.
