I Have No Suspension Travel and/or Weight Transfer after Rear Sway Bar Installation

A common problem we hear about after customers install a rear sway bar, rear anti-roll bar or an aftermarket rear end sway bar installation kit is that after installation they now have no suspension travel and/or poor weight transfer. This is always caused by the same thing, the u-bolt that goes through the rear sway bar bushings has been over-tightened.

When tightening the u-bolts that go through the rear sway bar bushings be sure not to make them so tight that the sway bar can not rotate inside of the bushings. You should be able to forcefully rotate the sway bar by hand, be sure to check that before installing the sway bar end links and finishing the installation.
