On Friday May 8, 2009 Spohn Performance took delivery of our 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS. The car is Victory Red with black striping. It features a 6 speed manual transmission and the LS3 engine. We chose the 1SS and RS option packages and will be adding the four gauge pack for that retro interior look. Our car was the 86th car built, the very first 1SS M6 car built, and the very first car built for Pa delivery, pretty cool!
For over seven years we "kept the faith" and GM did not let us down. The car is simply amazing in appearance and styling, fit and finish, handling and ride quality and the LS3's power does not let you down! Of course we can't leave things alone and plan to take the Zeta platform to the next level. Follow along as we develop and test the new Camaro over the course of the next year or so. We'll document all of our testing and new product developments on our blog, so be sure to follow along!
Update: We won the American Iron Grudge Race series at Maple Grove Raceway, beating out a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8. Our best ET was 13.62, best MPH was 109 and best 60' was 2.343 with major wheel hop. Videos of the races are below or go to our blog.
